I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Wranglers Hockey

First and most important is please read this message to the end as this affects children. It's year three for me and guess what? I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures http://www.lasvegaswranglers.com/ Now I need your help! Will you make a donation?

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

No one, not one person should lose a child to cancer.

Just today I read a Facebook post from a high school friend sharing the pain of her friends, the parents of a terminally ill 3 year old boy. Sent home to hospice.

With money to fund research on these cancers that seem to target our children, we can beat cancer! Please help me help these babies, these children. Check with your HR or personnel department at work. Very often they will match any contributions that you and others make.

Children who could be the next Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Marie Cure, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa....I could go on and on but by now I hope you get the picture. These children are dying because we just don't know how to cure their disease.

I'm not asking for hundreds of dollars from anyone. With the economy as it is, money is tight everywhere. But if your child or grandchild has cancer it's so much more difficult. How often do you stop at Starbucks or WaWa each week? What guilty pleasure would you be willing to give up in order to fund this research? Every $5 helps (I picked that amount because it's about what I would spend at Starbucks!)
