I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Balds Have More Fun

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Balds Have More Fun

Brave the Shave! In the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease — more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes combined. And yet, all types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4% of the U.S. federal funding for cancer research. So I decided to do something about it by raising money and awareness. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Please consider joining me on this wondrous journey by donating, volunteering, or becoming a fellow shavee! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This BEST part about Brave the Shave?...doing it in honor of one of the sweetest, most gorgeous pint-size warriors---ALEENA! At four years old she was diagnosed with astrocytoma and has undergone chemotherapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy, as well as the possibilities of future surgeries. Please help us in funding the much needed research in order to help children like Aleena.
