I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bravery

The two worst days of my life were the days that Ethan and Robert lost their battles to cancer. I remember them both like they were yesterday. Ethan and Robert made the ultimate sacrifice the days they went courageously into the dark, and I'm shaving my head to represent the bravery they showed not only on those days, but on every single day of their lives since being diagnosed. The bravery to undergo their treatment, no matter how much pain it caused them. The bravery to live knowing that each day could be their last. That's why I'm shaving my head. So that no child ever has to go through what they went through. So that no child has to be as brave as them. So that no community is left completely broken and in mourning because of a child's premature passing. So that no person has to feel like we did when we lost two of our classmates, our neighbors, our brothers, our children, our best friends.
