I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

I have chosen children with different types of leukemia to honor as this is a cancer that has taken my Aunt Imogene , who I look quite a bit like... I also choose to do this event in thanksgiving for my oldest daughter's life,,, who on April 7,2012 had an avm in her brain rupture .She has fully recovered and I am grateful, it was a trying time and I did a lot of bargaining with God to save her life and take mine instead,,, although she didn't have cancer, it was a vessell problem, I can fully understand how a parent of a child with cancer feels... no child should have cancer..... they should run play , get broken arms and legs, black eyes bumps and bruises but not cancer....
