I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 100 years

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 100 years

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. As Jake's mom, I have learned that remission and survival doesn't signal the end to our battle. Long term side effects from treatment and the fear of relapse, and secondary cancer, become your new battle. This new battle will last a lifetime. There so much awareness and change needed. We need to get through to to "healthy" Americans that their apathy towards big Pharma, big Aggro, our children, is what is preventing real progress from being made. Remember, " Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean They're not out to get you". We need to pull the reins in, and get the horse to move in our direction. Okay, no more analogies. The bottom line is I want my survivor Jake to live 100 Years, I want that promise that he can live as long and as well as any other person in this country. I want a promise that his "Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness" will not be thwarted by his childhood illness or dawning revelation that our families , friends, and neighbors may be actively ignoring our kids. Brutal, yes. I hope to be proven wrong.
