Hello,
My name is Alan Crouch, I'd like to talk to you about Children's Cancer...
I know it's an unpleasant topic and we are naturally uncomfortable with children suffering, but that is precisely why we must do something about this.
The reality is approximately 175,000 kids are stricken with cancer EVERY year, one out of five of these kids loses their battle with cancer. Many of the survivors suffer long term effects from the cancer treatments they receive. Children's Cancer research is grossly underfunded, children are not merely small adults, they cannot be treated with the same remedies used for adults. We need to raise more money to combat Children's Cancer and increase the survival rates along with the quality of life for the survivors.
In March of 2013 I made the commitment to raise money for St. Baldricks, my goal is to raise $10,000. I have not had my hair cut since I made the commitment, what you see on my head is one year worth of hair growth. I am going to dye my hair some bright color for the final four weeks. Maybe I will grow out my facial hair and dye it some crazy color too. Then on March 13th, I will shave my head, my beard, hell even my eyebrows if it will help raise enough money to make an impact.
That's where St. Baldricks and YOU come in. Through your generous donations St. Baldricks funds laboratories and clinical trials which results in less toxic treatments to cure kids of cancer.
Will you help the children? Will you donate to St. Baldricks today? The kids cannot fight cancer alone, they need our help.
Thank you for your support,
Alan
