I'm the mom of two healthy, happy boys. I can't imagine what these families are going through! I attended the event at Bridgeway last year and vowed to shave this year. I was incredibly inspired by the Bridgeway teachers and students who fundraised and shaved for the event!! I have not cut my hair since last year's event. I'm glad we are able to open it to whole Pattonville community. I set my goal at $150 and challenged my friends, mostly through facebook, to donate to the cause. I vowed that if I reached my goal, I would allow them to draw on my bald head. I have now far surpassed my goal and I'm going for $500!! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
