I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm shaving heads so people can stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

This will be my 5th year participating in this wonderful event. I shaved my head for my brother Donnie in 2011. Although it will be 57 years this year since his passing he has not been forgotten. The year that I shaved my head was an emotional one for me. I had gotten out our childhood picture books and rebooked them into newer albums. I saw a brother who loved his little sister and was always holding my hand. I remember when he was sick and the nurse would come to the house to take care of him. I would play by his bedside to be near to him. Our dad even put a train set together under his bed so he could amuse himself. Then as I looked further in the album he was gone. No more Donnie and me pictures. An emptiness came over me and I decided that I wanted to shave my head in his memory. I will be there this year shaving those who have the biggest hearts for this foundation and what it represents. The hope for a cure for their loved ones and friends. And for all who have touched my heart through their kindness THANK YOU!!!!
