I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I’m Joey & I’m a healthy 6 year old. I want to help kids with cancer so they can be healthy like me. Do you want to help me help them? I will shave my head to show my support for the kids going through cancer treatments. I don't have any money to donate since I'm six, so I'm relying on your donations to meet my goal. This summer I had a Lemonade Stand but I already donated that money to the children's hospital. I would set up another stand if I could but my mom says I'll freeze out there :)
Can we make a deal.... I'll shave my head & you donate a few dollars to my bald head?
Thank you for your help!
My mom says: "Thank you so much to those who have helped my son with this. He took this mission upon himself without any encouragement. He learned about this foundation's story & he immediately wanted to join. He has such a big heart and it really shines as he learns about what some children are going through. Not only is this mission teaching him to be grateful for things like his good health but it is also teaching him about what friendship is as he watches all of the people he loves support him with his goals. These are amazing lessons for a 6-year-old boy & I thank you for helping me teach them. -Crystal"
