Hello everyone!!! I am honored (and a bit overwhelmed) to announce that I am organizing the St. Baldrick's Event at Lynnwood Grill in just a few short months. Lynnwood has been involved with this outstanding charity for several years now and we are hoping that our 2014 event will be our biggest and best yet! But we cannot achieve our goal without your help. For those that are unfamiliar with The St. Baldrick's Foundation, it is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization (with the exception of the U.S. Government). This research allows survivors a chance... a chance for tomorrow...a chance of a healthy childhood...a chance to grow up. This year we have a goal of $45,000 (7000 over last year's event) and we need every.single.one of you to meet (and surpass? Wink. Wink. Nudge. Nudge) this goal. I am looking for donations for this event. No, I will not be a Shavee, just an ardent participant and supporter. Please give as little or as much as you can. Every cent matters. If you are unable to give anything monetary, we will be looking for items for our Silent Auction. Perhaps your company or someone you know could donate a service or good.
