I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM GORUCK

On March 02, a few of my friends and I will be participating in a Charity Fundraising Goruck Light Challenge. For about 5 to 6 hours, we'll be carrying Very Heavy Things, living well, and reminding ourselves how incredibly lucky we are that we don't have to carry the burden these kids deal with EVERY DAY....We'll wind up at O'Loughlin's Pub in Annapolis, rehydrate ourselves properly, and then have our heads shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers. It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of young Americans fighting childhood cancers. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thank you!
