I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

January 9th, 2013 I received the most devastating news any parent could ever receive. “Mr Clark, your child has cancer”. How can an 8.5 month old, seemingly healthy baby, be diagnosed with cancer. In my wildest imagination I would have never thought my baby could get cancer. I worried about 5 fingers, 5 toes, deformities, down syndrome, SIDS, but cancer?
What followed was 12 rounds of chemo, 9 hospital stays, 5 blood transfusions, over 100 shots, countless blood draws, scans, vomiting, hair loss... and we're still fighting it to this date.
I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and to fund research. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to children fighting cancers. Please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
