I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Sam Sommers is the eight year old son of two of my rabbinic colleagues. I signed up to shave my head to help raise money to fund research for childhood cancers. Sadly, Sam died the day after I volunteered to shave my head.

That is all the more reason for us to do what we can to try to prevent tragedies like this from occurring again. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
