With much love, I have been one of many who has followed the roller coaster journey of Superman Sam, our wonderful Sammy Sommer. As a friend of Phyllis and Michael, I've had to watch from afar as they fight, pray, hope, dream, and take loving care of their precious child. The very least I can do is take part in fundraising to help eradicate childhood cancer.
Inspired by Anne Persin, I am adding a stipulation to my "shavee" status - I will only shave my head if I reach or exceed my fundraising goal. Will you help me get there? Sammy Sommer is an incredibly bright, wise, and inspiring little boy. Your contribution will help make sure that brave boys and girls like Sam might no longer have to suffer from cancer one day.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
