I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: McHenry West HS

During the St. Baldrick's community shave of 2013, I was lucky enough to have the chance to volunteer. It was the job of myself and a couple others to keep count of the number of baldies-to-be that walked through our high school doors. Some I recognized and some I didn't, but I couldn't believe how many people were coming together to fight childhood cancer as one. There was a sense of community and hope that I hadn't experienced before, and that left me with memories I won't be forgetting anytime soon. It inspired me join the cause this year, to shave my head and to raise money to find cures for something bigger than all of us, let alone one person. This is why I'm asking for your donations - because you're not only supporting me in my efforts, you're supporting all of the infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. There isn't anything that I would appreciate more than your support, and every penny counts. With that, thank you! Feel free to click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
