I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ryan's Light

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ryan's Light

This is MY 4th year participating with St. Baldrick's Hawaii. In the summer of 2011 my sweet little boy died in my arms. Life will never be the same again, my Ryan is gone. Life continues to move though even without Ryan in it. Somehow the days and the months just keep passing, time stops for no one and nothing. He will never have the opportunity to do all the amazing things in life that I know in my heart he would have done. But in his death we can continue to try to change the world of pediatric cancers for the better, it is all we can now. Ryan should have had the opportunity to grow up. To live, to change the world, to do great things...we are doing that for him now. Our children shouldnt die from something that CAN be cured! Childhood cancer is NOT rare! It is grossly underfunded, and the vast majority of people do NOT understand enough about this number one cause of death by disease in our children. I believe people care enough to do something , but lots of times they do not know what they can do. Well, here it is St. Baldrick's. Your donations will go to childhood cancer research! We need your help, please consider donating to my fundraising goal, join us. Every little bit helps. Mahalo
