After a long and sad fall filled with friends experiencing loss, I sat one day thinking how incredibly grateful I am to have a healthy and happy family. The more I pondered, the more I kept coming back to the friend of friend who lost their five year old daughter to cancer. So this Thanksgiving, I am expressing my sincere gratitude for the perfect, healthy child by signing up to participate in the upcoming March St. Baldrick's event. This means that I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to fund research to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
