I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my first time shaving my head for St. Baldricks. My hair has never been shorter than 3-4 inches below my shoulders so I am a little nervous but very excited to raise a lot of money for a great cause.

I gave birth to my first child in December 2012 and had a friend of many years lose her child in 2012 to cancer which has fueled my drive for this organization. I also have incredible respect for my friends son Johnny Gibbs; he has been battling brain and spinal tumors for years and recently started a foundation (Johnny's ARMY Foundation) to fund childhood cancer research and make donations to children battling cancer. I have been touched by cancer so many times in my life and it is heartbreaking, but an innocent child should never have to experience such a horrible, ugly, draining disease. Please support me with a donation and then come out and cheer me on come March 8th! Together we can make a difference!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
