I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Delta Delta

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. As a healthy person all around and a large family with a whole lot more of the same, I never gave much thought to childhood cancer patients. I can't even recall ever seeing a child balding because of a cancer treatment. That was until last week. My wife and I pulled in to the mall parking lot and as I searched for a spot, I found 2 open spaces and two kids play fighting in them. Thinking to myself,"I can ruin their fun no problem..." I slowly approached and pulled in to the spot. Before I got out f the truck I realized one of the boys had funny looking hair. When I got out I immediately realized that he had funny looking hair because he was losing it. Never in my life had I felt like a bigger jerk. And I thought. Here's a kid with cancer, losing his hair, and just trying to have fun like every other kid. Having seen posts on Facebook about St. Baldricks from some friends, instead of just volunteering, I decided I could be a shavee in honor of that boy in the mall parking lot.
