I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Simi Valley Peeps

Say whaaaaa?!? In the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease—more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes COMBINED! And did you know that 14,583 children will be diagnosed with cancer THIS month? Worldwide, every 3 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer - and in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. I know, that's a lot to take in and process but these are children that are fighting cancer everyday. With only a week under my belt working for St. Baldrick's, I have been touched in so many ways by the stories of these children who are 10x stronger than I could ever be. So I wanted to make a team, raise money, and charm some friends & family into donating (or even shaving their heads!) to raise money in an effort to conquer childhood cancer! FUN FACT: You don't even have to show up or raise money to join the team! Although it would be great see your face there...You can join and help me spread the word about the event, St. Baldrick's and childhood cancer research! So let's kick cancers butt and honor these kids! Cheers!
