I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

The St. Baldrick’s family lost a dear friend in Pete Fedden, of Commack, NY who passed away at the age of 29. "He was just larger than life," his mother said. "Everybody loved him." As the owner of Commack Breakfast, he loved spending all day interacting with folks from the neighborhood. Pete was born March 13, 1984, the first child of Kathi and George Fedden. He had a younger brother, Paul, who died as an infant and a sister, Jaimee Lee Fedden. With such a close family, the deli became a family affair. His mother, father and sister all worked there part time, and even his grandmother cooked bacon for the customers. Every year around his birthday, Pete would shave for the brave at the Napper Tandy's event and was a six time shavee. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Baldrick's Foundation in memory of Peter Fedden/Commack Breakfast.
