I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Delta Delta

Over the last 3 years, St. Baldrick’s has afforded me the opportunity to meet a countless number of dedicated and passionate volunteers. Volunteers brave enough to shave their heads to give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults across the world.

Back in March, I met one of our honored kids Fernando at a St. Baldrick's school event in Santa Ana, CA. At the event, I witnessed firsthand the impact cancer had on parents, teachers, administrators and students.

So many different emotions went through my body that day as I saw the crowd cry, laugh, smile and shave their heads for Fernando. It was a day which truly changed my life and I vowed to one day shave my head to honor kids like Fernando.

On Saturday, September 28th, I will make good on my promise to shave my head and stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and raise funds for life-saving research. Today, I ask you to join in my quest and help me reach my goal of $1,000!

Thank you so much for your support,
Alfred
