I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Have you ever wanted to make a difference in peoples lives? Here is an opportunity to do that! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Though I will look like a goofy turtle with a shaved head :) I would look that way for the rest of my life if it meant one person could survive cancer or even prolong a child's life to enjoy what most of us forget is the foundation of life, which is love. Love is the greatest feeling one can feel, wether love of a mother, father, brother, sister, friend, or family, when one experiences love they experience what life is all about and should be all about. "If I give all that I have, and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not love, I gain nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:3 Lets love like we are suppose to, like we were designed to! I am doing this out of love and am able to because Jesus Christ first loved us, I am doing this to glorify him through sacrificial love. And because my heart goes out to these kids, I too know what its like spending a huge part of one's childhood in a hospital. I was born with a very rare and serious heart defect giving me a slim chance of survival. I received care at Minneapolis Childrens Hospital and now I work at the very hospital I thank (after thanking God first) for saving my life. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
