I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: All about the Kids

No, I'm not crazy or drunk. I've been thinking about this for the past year! An email appeared at work on Friday with an event in Victor, NY on April 14, 2013. And, on March 24, 2013 I pledged to Shave my head and stand in solidarity with children with cancer.
St. Baldrick's Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for children's cancer research. Just looking at their website I fell in love with Zoe. Every 3 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer and 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive.

No child should have cancer. There are so many young people in my life who are getting married and having babies.

I don't want any family to hear these words "your child has cancer". I decided to volunteer with the hope of making a difference.

I know the economy is tough. We all work very hard for our money. If you could spare a little for this event I'm positive it'll make a huge difference!

If you are unable to make a donation that's okay. Perhaps you could forward this email to your friends or family. Perhaps you could offer a prayer for a successful event. Or, come join me on the 14th. It would be awesome to have a partner sitting next to me.

Thank you in advance for your support. Together let's fight off the forces of evil and conquer with goodness.
Wishing you all a beautiful spring!!
