Larry started growing his mustache in 1975 at the age of 23 years old. Since that time he has not shaved the mustache. Now, 38 years later he has agreed to be a HERO! As everyone in Clayton and surrounding areas know Larry is the director of the Clayton Parks and Recreation Department. He is well known in the community and respected by many people. He has been with the Clayton Parks and Recreation Department for 29 years and has dedicated his life to making sure children and adults have the absolute best Parks and Recreation Department Clayton can offer. Larry has been instrumental in obtaining many new parks, green-ways, and the first Community Center and dog park in Clayton. Larry and his wife Lisa have raised 3 children in Clayton and have been extremely involved in the community.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my mustache shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
