I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Albany Med

I'm having my head shaved on April 14 to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. A lot of my family has been affected by cancer, so this has a special place in my heart. My dad is also a pediatric oncologist and does childhood cancer research. I figure I've got to do this once in my life, and hopefully I can raise a lot of money. I've chosen to honor Amber Rose. A young girl who passed away from ALL. She had a great spirit. She received treatment at University of Minnesota, and my dad was likely involved in her care. I will be headed to University of Minnesota next year for internal medicine residency and subsequently oncology where I ultimately hope to make advances in the treatment of heme malignancies such as ALL. It would be very special for me to honor Amber Rose. Thank you! Michael Blazar P.S. And I actually have way more hair on my head than in my head shot. Probably be more than 3 inches by the time April 14 rolls around. This will be fun!
