I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 96rock-Hibernian Team

In 2000, I chose to cut my long hair, and have worn it short ever since. I have chosen to have my head shaved on February 28, 2009. On these days, and every day, there are children losing their hair as a result of treatment for cancer. Unlike me, these children did not choose to sacrifice their hair. What's more, the loss of hair is not the worst that these children will endure during their battle against cancer. They will suffer - among other symptoms - pain, nausea, fatigue, and fear. Especially fear. I cannot endure those pains on behalf of these children, but I can let them know, through my actions, that they are not alone " that I and others are with them in our hearts and minds. Through our donations, we can help provide funding in the search for a cure. Theres a button here on this page to donate. All it takes is a few clicks of your mouse to help make a difference. You can also donate by mail or by phone. Please donate if you can, not for the adult who is having his head shaved one day in February, but for the children and their families who deal with the reality of cancer every dayand never had a choice in the matter.
