I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alumni / Workers

Hey everybody! WE are here again this year, though I have thought about it...We do this once a year, however these kids with cancer have cancer EVERYDAY of the year. Granted we are doing all we can as scientists and lab assistants and techs and family and friends, when we sleep at night, we dont have to suffer through the pain of the effects of cancer, or it's current treatments. Sure we have one day of fun and games and for most its just something to do once a year and it fills your "quota" void of doing good things, but I know kids with cancer, and I choose to help more. So this is a pledge and a plea, Not only to participate at the event or to donate, but also go out and meet these kids, befriend one and let them know their fight isn't being done alone. science might not be able to explain it, but LOVE is one of the biggest cures we have. Thanks for reading and hope to see you guys there!
