I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Anna's Troop

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Anna's Troop

I'm shaving my head to raise money and awareness of pediatric cancer in memory of my 11 year old daughter, Anna Mrdak.

Anna was diagnosed in March 2012 of having osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her left leg (shin). Anna began chemo on April 10, 2012 and completed chemo on December 20, 2012. Anna passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 due to the permanent heart damage that was caused by the chemo. The very treatment that was meant to save her life from the horrible disease of cancer ended up taking her life. This type of treatment has to change, which is why I'm asking you to help me support the St. Baldrick's Foundation to find a cure that doesn't destroy the patient in the process.

Therefore, please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.

God Bless!
