I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Las Flores Middle School

Hi! I’m Ellie Howard and I’m a thirteen-year-old seventh grader at Las Flores Middle School. Some people believe Middle School is all about fitting in, but I don’t. Some kids my age with cancer don’t even get the chance to try and fit in. Some don’t even live to be my age. The children with this horrible disease have inspired me to try and make a difference. On Sunday, March 17th at Tesoro HS, I am going to have my head shaved [that’s right completely bald :) ] to show my support for these kids.
I’m certainly going to look different and with your help we can make a difference. My goal is to raise $3,000 to fight this terrible disease. I need you to sponsor me by donating to this awesome cause!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
