I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Phi Sig

Hey everybody, I'm shaving my head to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research through the St. Baldrick's Foundation again. Any donations you can provide will go directly to fund grants for labs conducting research into cures for childhood cancer! Thanks again for your support; know that it is always going to a noble cause especially since St. Baldrick's "funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government." I would like to dedicate this to a family friend of ours, Brent O'Neill, who passed away just last week of colon cancer. He was a childhood friend of my dad's and they remained friends throughout life, and he became a great friend of mom's too. He had a dry, sometimes irreverent sense of humor and he was an overall cool dude who experienced an inordinate amount of loss and hardship in his life to the point that it "sounded like a damn country song" (The Guardian; though I'm a little ashamed I'm citing a quote from a movie with Ashton Kutcher in it). I met him only recently, and for just a brief time, but I'm glad I met him and I know that I'm better for doing so as well. Though I only knew him for a short time, I'll never forget him.
