I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cancer Kids Rock

My life was forever changed the day my oldest son Ethan was diagnosed with AML at the age of 7. While he battled and beat cancer 3 times over the course of nearly 2 years I witnessed the hope, faith, love and strength of a child which was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced in my life.. I lost Ethan to pneumonia early in the morning on August 29, 2012, a moment I will relive everyday for the rest of my life. Ethan's hope was that no other child would ever have to fight cancer again and he often said he was thankful that he got cancer instead of a child who might not be as strong as him. Shaving my head is a small price to pay for an excellent cause, honoring all of the brave children like Ethan who stand up to cancer because they have no choice. Here is to ETHAN, my hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
