I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Redwoods Group

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Redwoods Group

There is an old Middle Eastern proverb that says something like "I cried because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet." I live with relative means and good health. For years, I have had the blessing of a full head of hair. These children deal daily with their disease, and most at one time or another will lose their hair. They take it in stride with grace and courage. Shaving my head allows me to identify just a tiny bit with their struggle. I'm asking that each of you put off that next trip to the beautician or barber for a couple of weeks and donate what you would pay them for your next cut, color and blowdry to a very worthy cause. Let's together eradicate the need for a 3 year old to spend another night in the hospital. Please read Khalid's story, it is truly touching.
