This year the donations pledged through my website will be in honor of Miss Jenny Stock, whose family I know through our church, as well as having known several of her aunts and uncles going back to grade school. At the age of nine Jenny was diagnosed with cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and spent most of her fourth grade school year in the hospital going through chemotherapy, radiation and other necessary treatments. Through her faith, support of her large, very loving family, friends, school community and her treatments, Jenny beat her cancer and to this day remains cancer free. Jenny is now a high school senior and makes a difference in the lives of other children fighting cancer by volunteering as a camp counselor at Camp Rainbow. Her family also sponsors an annual blood drive since it is an important way for them to give back, help those in need and honor the donors who gave blood when Jenny needed transfusions. St. Baldrick’s is all about helping many children fighting cancer, just like Jenny. Every donation, no matter how large or small, is a step forward in this fight. Thanks to all of you who have supported my "head shaving" in the past. Please keep all those with cancer, and their families, in your prayers. Thank you, and may God Bless you all. - Jeff
