I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: HFP and FMC

My brother-n-law happened to mention that he was participating (again) in this fundraiser and I thought it would be cool (and crazy) to join in. I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I immediately thought about the daughter of one of my co-workers, who was stricken with a brain tumor in November of 2003. Sarah Violet Ellis, the daughter of Rob Ellis and Dr. Jennifer Ellis, passed away on April 23, 2004. Dr. Ellis was very new to our practice at the time, and I didn't really know her yet. As I watched her and her husband fight for and stand by this little angel, I was touched by their grace and strength and heartbroken for their loss. I want to honor her memory and help other children who I pray will have a different outcome with the help of me and my team. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
