I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Phi Theta Kappa Officers

Community members, professors and instructors will shave their heads to support research to fight childhood cancers at a St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser at 6 p.m. March 1 in the “U” building cafeteria at Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills. The event also will feature live bands, speakers, raffle prizes and refreshments. I am donating: A basket that includes: Riesling wine, 2 wine glasses, soap petals, taper candles, 2 grape-themed kitchen towels and homemade chocolate oreo truffles a $50 value. A chocolate oreo truffles tray a $20 value. Other prizes you can win via raffle are: autographed football, autographed baseball, Lincolnshire Marriott stay, piercing/tattoo and more.To donate online, visit www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/6079/2013.
