I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm Kat. While I believe we ought to find a cause for cancer before finding a cure for cancer; I've seen this horrible disease weaken and kill people I care about. Not every cancer story is a negative one. Both sides of my family have had some form of cancer, and both were able to fight it.

The reason why i'm doing this is partly for them and their courage and willpower to fight, and partly for the children who have had their lives hindered by this growing problem.

I also think we should drop the stigma against bald females. If a guy can walk around with long hair, I think a lady can look lovely without any. :P

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
You can donate a penny, or ten bucks, or thirteen cents.. It's really up to you and what you've got. If anything, I simply ask that you overlook appearance and morally support the Kat! Thank you!
