I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Avera ICU

I've signed up with some of my coworkers from Avera McKennan's ICU to raise money for St. Baldrick's. For those who aren't familiar, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. My goal is to raise $500 before March 13th. If I do, I will have my head shaved.... For those of you who haven't seen my head shaved, trust me its always good for a laugh! I used to shy away from asking people for money, but I've realized over the years that I'm allowing people an opportunity to be a blessing. If you feel led, please contribute! St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
