Please help us give back...lets come together and raise money towards Childhood Cancer Research. Do you know that only 3% of Federal Funding for Cancer Research goes towards Childhood Cancer Research? That funding is then divided amongst the different childhood cancers based on how many cases per year are found.
Our 7year old, Nicholas has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a very rare cancer with only 650-700 cases per year in the US diagnosed. You know what that means...Neuroblastoma falls to the bottom of the list and gets only $150,000K in Federal Funding per year. That is an example of only 1 type of cancer that exists...this list is long and this is a result that there just isn't enough government funding to help our children fight these diseases with no known cure! We must stop this and help find cures to allow our children live the normal lives they are meant to live and that no child should ever endure this horrible experience. No parent should ever experience living in fear for their children, not knowing the unknown and always hoping and praying for the best. This could be happening to you...this could be your child, friend, niece, nephew.
Thank you for supporting us and the more than 175,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.<
