I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

To be honest, I initially signed up for this to fulfill a requirement for a service project for one of my classes. That soon changed when I realized how life changing of an event this can be. Research is necessary to find cures and help prevent cancer from taking more lives of loved ones. Research is also expensive. I really desire that through this event we will be able to not only bring hope to those who we are honoring, but that the money we raise will further this cause and bring us one step closer to a cure, or a more effective treatment, or even a less expensive treatment. This isn't just for those suffering from the effects of cancer now, but for all those n the future who may face this trial. Together, I know we can make this world a little bit better, and make the future a little bit brighter. You're donation and service is greatly appreciated and will be forever remembered.
