I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Legette's Fighting Cancer

So, after 2 years of talking about being a part of St. Baldricks and shaving my head, I am finally doing it. This is in honor of ALL my absolutely AMAZING patients who were, or currently are being, treated for Cancer. It is also to honor all of the INCREDIBLE families and parents that have allowed me to be such a close person in their lives during this time! There is not a day that goes by that I don't appreciate my healthy children and wish for perfect outcomes for each of my patients.

I don't take my healthy children for granted or the ability to touch their heads and know that with each strand of hair it signifies, in my world of Oncology, HEALTH! To all the parents I work with who have kissed their child's beautiful bald head and shed a tear for the significance of being bald, I am doing this for you!

I am excited about being a part of this organization and to raise money for cures in the area of Pediatric Cancer. My son Brayden will also be shaving his head and Presten has yet to decide so at least 3 of the 4 of us (since Mike already is) in the Legette household will be bald. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
