Last year I attended my very first St. Baldrick's event and was moved to tears. Shortly after the event one of my old US Navy buddy's 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia and passed away 2 weeks later. This touched me deeply and made me realize that so often we think, "why do I need to get involved, someone else always does." This year I am that someone and I've answered the call to be a hero!
I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise $5,000 to find cures for childhood cancers. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
I have a hefty donation goal of $5,000 and know with your support and love I will make my goal and we will help kids with cancer. Thank you!
