I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. I see the effects of childhood cancer every day that I am at work- we have a great oncology unit at Dell Children's but I wish those kids didn't have to be there! Most of you probably don't know that my mom's sister Brenda had a childhood cancer too, and died when she was only 16 years old. I was only a baby at that time. So in Brenda's memory, in the memory of anyone you may have known with childhood cancer, or for all those children that may benefit from this worthy cause, please consider donating! I have been growing out my locks just for this purpose, and will donate the hair to "Locks of Love." I have a goal of at least $5000 to raise! Thank you for your support!
