I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Magellan Charter School

My name is Jack and I am having my head shaved on March 2nd in order to raise money to fight childhood cancer.

I play basketball, and last year a friend on my team had to start the season late because of some pain he was having. He still had these pains throughout the basketball season but continued to play anyway. It wasn't until the season was over that they figured out where the pain was coming from. My friend was diagnosed with cancer; Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The good news is that he is in remission. But he still has to struggle through tough medical treatments that are very hard to handle and made him lose his hair. He has been a real hero just like others that have to go through the same thing.

I want to be a hero too. I'm having my head shaved to stand up for kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! And don't forget to check out my "before and after" pictures!
