I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Hudson Insurance

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research, will host one of its signature head-shaving events at Jim Brady's Restaurant & Bar in New York City, on March 15, 2013, where TEAM HUDSON and I will shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer and raise money to Conquer Childhood Cancers! Why all the shaved heads? Worldwide a child is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes, and one in five children diagnosed in the U.S. will not survive. With only 4 percent of all federal cancer research funding dedicated to pediatric cancer research, St. Baldrick’s Foundation volunteers, supporters and donors are needed to continue the battle against this devastating disease. St. Baldrick’s is rooted in the insurance industry, having been founded by some insurance executives in 2000, and has raised more than $118M in donations to date. Since 2008, employees of Odyssey / Hudson around the country have joined together and raised nearly $250,000 for the Foundation I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I am asking for your support. Please give what you can so that I and others can rally behind causes that my personal fundraising page can be found at http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/594395 and my team page can be found at http://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/HudsonInsurance. We would appreciate any support you can provide. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Please consider coming to on March 15th at 1PM to witness the event in person – it promises to be a great time for a great cause. THANK YOU for your commitment to kids with cancer!
