If you know me then you know that having a shaved head is not something I want to flaunt. After my time in the military, I vowed that I would never shave my head again! Simply put, I was wrong.
I’m answering the call to make a difference and be a hero to someone I may never meet. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Now a “shavee” and a proud member of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation you should know that this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization with the exception of the U.S. government.
So here I am, asking for your support. You can laugh at my bald, soon to be sunburned, head and feel good inside knowing that your gift will give hope to the people fighting childhood cancers, from infants to young adults.
