Hi everyone,
I count myself extremely fortunate in not having the experience of waking up each day and dealing with the shattering impact cancer can have on a family’s life; but I also have gotten to know far too many friends and families that have had to do just that. If you find yourself like me, counting yourself fortunate every day yet passionately wishing there was some practical way that you could contribute real energy into the research and fight to find a cure for cancer then please hear me out. It turns out there is something real that I and all of us can do which is vital to this fight - ensuring that the people and programs that are working to find a cure have the needed funding to carry on their vital work without delay.
I am once again jumping up to help drive this awareness of the need for funding for childhood cancer research and am asking for your help in supporting this fight in a way that we can in fact all make an impact… a charitable contribution to assist these researchers to win this fight. It is for this reason that I'm once again shaving my head to stand in solidarity with the brave kids fighting cancer, but more significantly, to raise money to help support the programs that are fighting to find cures. NetApp Toronto is hosting our annual St. Baldrick’s event on April 3rd to help drive support for this amazing foundation. Please support me with any donation you can to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Thank you in advance for your generous support again this year in the fight to end childhood cancer.
Kevin
