I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about a cause so close to my heart! My name is Rachel Boone and I'm currently a junior at the University of South Carolina. As a student in the medical field, I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with children and like most, I believe every child has the right to a healthy future. St. Baldrick's is a volunteer driven charity that funds more childhood cancer research than any organization, except the US government! Through these donations that we can find a cure for infants, children, teens, and young adults battling childhood cancer. I will admit that I am anxious to go without hair, but I believe in standing next to other courageous, beautiful, and bald individuals for a cause! The power of hope, generosity, and research is not unfounded. The money you help me raise will not only fund cures but inspire thousands of others to become educated and join the cause. Any donation at all makes a difference!
