I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Plain "Bald" Eagles

My Mom and Dad wanted me to wait a few years before I shaved my head. I am 10 years old and this is the 11th St. Baldrick's my family has worked on in memory of my Aunt Abbey. It took me two months to convince them; and this is the letter I wrote to my Dad before he said yes. Dear Dad, I need you to rethink St. Baldrick's. I have to sign up by tomorrow if I'm going to do it. I need you to encourage me into this. I've prayed to God about it. He is the only one who helped me make this decision. I heard you talk to Mom about it last night. It was all me with the help of God. Please say yes. I have thought of everything bad that could happen. The only thing that could possibly go wrong is RUDE kids at school making fun of me, but I can handle that myself. It will break my heart into tiny little pieces if you say NO. It means so much to me. PLEASE RETHINK! Love, Claire
