I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CFJ West/PSA Soccer Balds

September 29, 2006 was a very memorable day in my life. On this day, I turned 8 years old and I attended the funeral of one of my dearest friends who lost her courageous battle with a brain tumor. Sammi "Sunshine" Behl was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioblastoma at age 6 while in Kindergarten. She was a great friend who lived her short life to the fullest in every way. Her strength and attitude was an inspiration to all who knew her. I am participating in this event in memory of Sammi. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
